# Trabit — Privacy Policy

Trabit ("we", "us", "the app") helps you build focus habits — tracking goals and
focus sessions, and optionally blocking distracting apps. This policy explains what we
collect, why, and your choices. In short: we collect only what the app needs to work,
we don't show ads, and we don't sell your data.

## Information we collect

**Account information.** When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name
and email address (or Apple's private relay email, if you choose to hide it) and a
unique account identifier. We use this to create and secure your account.

**Your content.** The goals, tasks, focus sessions, notes ("brain dump"), settings,
and streak history you create in the app. We store this so your data is saved and
synced across your devices.

**Subscription information.** If you subscribe, your purchase is processed by Apple.
Through our payments provider (RevenueCat) we receive your subscription status and a
transaction identifier so we can unlock premium features. We never receive your card
or payment details — those stay with Apple.

**App-blocking selections.**
- On **iOS**, app blocking uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls). The apps you
  choose are represented by private tokens that stay **on your device** — we cannot see
  which apps you selected.
- On **Android**, blocking uses on-device usage access to detect when a blocked app
  opens and return you to Trabit. This happens **locally on your device** and is not
  sent to us.

**Diagnostic data.** Basic, non-identifying information may be collected by our service
providers to keep the app running reliably (e.g. crash/error reports).

We do **not** collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing history.

## How we use your information
- To provide and sync the app's core features across your devices.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To provide and manage your subscription.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

## Third-party services
We rely on a few trusted providers to run the app, each processing data on our behalf
under their own privacy terms:
- **Supabase** — authentication and secure cloud storage of your account and content.
- **RevenueCat** — subscription management (works with Apple In-App Purchase).
- **Apple** and **Google** — sign-in and, on their stores, payment processing.

## Storage & security
Your account and content are stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase) with
access controls so that only you can access your data. We use industry-standard
measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is
100% secure.

## Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your data at any time by
signing out and deleting your account, or by emailing us at [email protected] . When you delete your account, your content is removed from our systems.
Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their policies.

## Children's privacy
Trabit is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your
country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

## Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or
delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

## Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and
update the effective date above.
